Role Overview

To support the Company’s ongoing growth and drive to increase operational efficiencies, we are seeking a trainee to join our manufacturing facility.

You’ll assist in pre-fabrication activities in our stockyard, operating our shotblast machine and material handling between our workshops. This will support the smooth running of our fabrication/welding process.

A safety conscious, hardworking team player who is keen to learn would be the ideal candidate. We’ll invest in your training, included forklift truck and overhead gantry crane operations.

There may be future opportunities to train to use our steel processing equipment including our robotic plasma.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Helping to organise stock in our stock yard.

To support our quality control procedures your role will be to undertake an independent check of Steelwork 3D model & fabrication drawings prior to their release to production.

Yard Operative

Role Overview

Working in our despatch yard, you’ll be a key member of the team in making sure our projects are delivered accurately and on time.

This role entails material handling from our workshops into the yard and unloading / loading trailers and shipping containers.

Previous experience in a similar environment along with certificates in forklift truck operations are desirable although not essential. We would consider a hard working trainee who is keen to learn.

Motivation to work outside year-round is essential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To support growth and professional development, we are looking for an additional cladding draughtsperson to join our busy Drawing Office.

As a key member of our internal project team, you will be responsible for detailing the roof and wall cladding and associated items for our steel structures. Your drawings will be used in the manufacture of sheet metal items and installation of cladding, flashings, gutters and trims on site.
