It was great to the meet the finalists in our category at a special Dorset Business Awards reception.
Dorset Chamber held the event to announced businesses on the shortlist for honours at the gala awards ceremony on November 28.
REIDsteel Business Relationship Director Sean Burchell and HR/Contracts Administrator Megan Law represented REIDsteel at the ‘Meet the Finalist’ showcase.
We’re sponsoring the prestigious Excellence in Engineering and Manufacturing Award jointly with Atlas Elektronik UK (AEUK).
Finalists in the running for the title are Actisense, Field International Ltd and Precision Acoustics.
Sean and Megan rubbed shoulders with the finalists and fellow sponsors at the reception, which heralded what promises to be a superb Dorset Business Awards ceremony at the end of this month.
As a local business with international reach, we know just how important manufacturing and engineering excellence has been to our own success.
It is important to recognise the achievements of businesses in this sector, which is a bedrock of the local and national economy.
It’s third consecutive year that we have supported the Dorset Business awards.
We’re a previous winner of the Exporter of the Year at the Dorset Business Awards. We have also won four Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in International Trade, so we know what a great boost awards success can bring.
Meanwhile 2019 is also landmark year with the 24th anniversary of the awards and the 70th anniversary of the Dorset Chamber. It is also our centenary year, so it’s triple cause for celebration!
