John Reid & Sons (Strucsteel) Ltd has become the first company to feature in a new series of videos from the British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA).
The ‘Meet the Member’ profile features Head of QHSE Joanne White and Head of Technical John Harrison who give insights into the company and some of its most outstanding recent projects, including a landmark hangar at Biggin Hill Airport.
They set out REIDsteel’s design, build, fabrication and installation expertise for the full building envelope, which significantly reduces risk and the likelihood of variations for clients.
Jo and John also explained how BCSA membership gives REIDsteel a framework to help manage its systems, ensuring client satisfaction, safe projects for the company’s staff, other trades and end users.
BCSA has also provided assistance for REIDsteel in its commitment to net zero. The company is proud to have a longstanding history with BCSA both for the support its provides on a practical level but also for the benefits the organisation brings to the wider structural steel sector and the economy.
REIDsteel is grateful to the BCSA to become the first firm featured in the Meet the Member series and for the opportunity to explain what the company does.
Founded in 1906, the BCSA is the trade body for UK and Irish steelwork contractors and the wider structural steel supply chain. It lobbies on behalf of its members and provides them with education and technical services.
