The company is also working on plans that will allow its site teams (including subcontractors) to return to construction sites.

Managing director Simon Boyd, above left, said: “The health, safety and wellbeing of our people is our utmost priority. When the lockdown was announced, we immediately took the decision to send all our people home to stop any potential spread of the virus and to give us time to consider alternative measures.”

It paves the way for our relocation to a state-of-the-art new facility proposed near Bournemouth Airport.

BCP Council’s planning committee gave the go-ahead for the residential scheme, which will also include parking and access.

Now we will market the site for a developer to build the homes after it relocates.

REIDsteel managing director Simon Boyd said: “This was a fantastic decision and a great start to 2020 for us.

Voters in Dorset have been urged to back Brexit at the ballot box to ensure a swift departure from the European Union.

Our managing director Simon Boyd said a strong showing for the Conservative Party was vital in the general election on December 12.

Simon has been campaigning for the past 30 years against bad EU directives and regulations that impact on British business and to retain British Standards, which are seen by many as the finest in the world.

He said: “While there are many important issues at stake in the forthcoming general election by far the most critical at this point in time is Brexit.

“The only way for a swift and successful departure from the EU is for people to support the Conservative candidate in their constituency so we can get this stage of Brexit done by the end of January.

“Then businesses, and their employees, will be able to move on with confidence while the Government begins to focus on future free trade agreements […]
