Cricket
Grandstands NEW
 It is just as important to have no columns, or the thinnest possible columns, in front of cricket grandstands as for any other sport. Many cricket stands have forests of columns, some of them very obtrusive. Reidsteel can help eliminate these obstructions.
Because of the oval shape of the ground, any columns in the two ends of the stands will obstruct views of certain parts of the field. Reidsteel can eliminate columns in the ends of grandstands.

The Taylor Report of 1989/90 laid down
strict rules concerning safety of Sports Grandstands and these rules
were enlarged in the "Green Guide" and dozens of specialised
publications on all aspects of Stadium design and practise.
REIDsteel is one of the few steel construction companies in the world able to do the structural design and plan all
aspects of grandstands such as safety and viewing standards. They also
fabricate the structures and build the stands.
REIDsteel can design for terraces of
various types.
REIDsteel bleachers come in a variety of styles to suit every climate and every price range.
They can have 100 to 100,000+ seats and be permanent or temporary. Read

All safety requirements are built in.
REID make the gangways, entrances and exits (vomitories) and tunnels, in
precast concrete or decorative steel. REID will design and supply the suspended
floors for offices or function rooms with precast concrete or insitu
cast composite floors, including the staircases. REIDsteel can design the Directors boxes
and TV boxes in the stands or suspended from the roofs.
 REIDsteel will produce the most effective
grandstands. They are quick and easy to price; quick to manufacture and
build but most importantly, they will be easy to maintain and cheap to
own.
REIDsteel are at their best in producing
the down to earth, straight forward rugged construction that most clubs
and spectators want, though this does not mean plain constructions.
