‘V’ good . . . just seen the photos from the official opening of TAG energy Solutions new production facility on the north Bank of the river Tees. It all looks very impressive thanks to the REIDsteel’s slender ‘V’ braced tied portal design. Would love to see all the automated machinery in full swing.

With many planes getting bigger and bigger, some soon outgrow their hangar. However, there is not always the need to build a totally new one – just a new taller tailgate door & housing did the trick when we upgraded a hangar at Bournemouth International Airport to accommodate a Boeing 747-SP which stands nearly a full metre taller than the standard 747.

Our favourite client in Mauritius, Mr Francois Woo of CMT, is now established in a factory building in Bangladesh. As in Mauritius, he has courageous plans for expansion, and will soon be bringing fresh work, fresh standards and fresh lives to Bangladesh.
